Supply Chain Finance Manager

£50-60k + bonus, London

This rapidly scaling sweet-treats brand has a footprint and customer base across the UK and Europe. Due to a surge in growth, they are now looking for a Supply Chain Finance Manager to join the team.


This Supply Finance Manager role will be focused around business partnering with the Supply chain and Operations teams to create annual strategic plans, improve profitability, track and analyse trade spend and provide hands-on finance support and guidance.


The role:

  • Sole business partner to the Supply Chain and Operations teams covering everything from production, logistics and purchasing to engineering, capital investment and more.
  • Develop financial modelling to enable accurate and timely monthly reporting and analysis on overheads and expenses, COGs, stock balances, purchases, manufacturing variances, capital expenditure, depreciation and fixed assets
  • Design and implementation of a capex appraisal process
  • Lead the Supply Chain and Operations quarterly reforecast and annual strategic planning process – challenging forecasts and assessing and understanding risks
  • Be the link into the core finance team – ensuring compliance with month-end processes, purchase order and supplier invoices, etc
  • Reporting to the Head of Finance


The person:

  • 2-3 years PQE (ACA or CIMA)
  • FMCG experience required (ideally from large scale and SME businesses)
  • Experience of hands-on commercial business partnering with Supply Chain and Operations teams is required
  • Looking for an amazing opportunity in a seriously fast-growth business
  • Advanced Excel skills (competence with Macros would be an advantage)
  • A confident communicator – able to distil complex finance topics to non-finance team members
  • Able to build rapport and develop relationships with colleagues outside of the finance team
  • Confident to perform as the link between finance and the Supply Chain and Operations teams


The package:

  • £50-60k base salary
  • Up to 10% bonus
