Head of Sales

£60-80k + options and bonus, London

(FMCG experience is required!)

 

We are working with a seriously ambitious challenger snack brand who are now looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Head of Sales to join the team and spearhead their next phase of growth.

 

They are looking for someone who is passionate about people and wants to manage, mentor and grow a team whilst also being laser-focused on revenue and distribution growth. There is the scope to grow into a more commercial, Director level role down the line.

 

The brand and team are driven to make the world of snacking a better place and are seeking someone who wants to join them in making this mission a reality!

 

The role:

  • Create and drive the sales strategy for the brand
  • Extend the brands distribution within the Grocery channel
  • Manage and grow key customer relationships in all channels
  • Lead and coach the sales and commercial team to achieve increased performance for all revenue streams with the view to grow the team when needed
  • Manage the P&L – working closely with finance on budgets and sales targets to drive profitability
  • Work closely with the Operations Director to ensure the brand have the best margin on their products
  • Work with the Marketing team to drive Ecommerce sales
  • Drive NPD from a consumer and retails insight perspective
  • Opportunity to develop into a Sales Director or Commercial Director role with the brand
  • Work as part of the Senior Leadership team at the brand, collaborating with the team to drive business growth and expansion

 

The person:

  • 7-10+ years experience in FMCG sales
  • A blend of experience from high growth FMCG and large, blue-chip FMCG
  • Passionate about healthy snacking and improving the snacking landscape
  • Fantastic strategic skills and highly commercial
  • Passionate about building and leading winning teams
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial with the ability to work autonomously to drive business growth
  • A real people person who is positive and enthusiastic
  • Experience with international sales is a big benefit

 

The package:

  • £60-80k + options and bonus
